Who We Are
Emerald Medicine Company is a locally owned hemp and CBD shop in Durham, North Carolina. We were one of the first shops in the Triangle to carry hemp-derived products, and we've been building trust with our community ever since.
We're not a chain. We're not a franchise. We're a small team of real people who care deeply about this industry — and about the customers who walk through our door. Whether you've been a customer for years or you're walking in for the first time, you're going to get honest, knowledgeable service from someone who actually knows the products.
What We Believe
Hemp is having a moment — but not every shop treats it with the seriousness it deserves. We do. Every product on our shelves is third-party lab tested, and we can show you the Certificate of Analysis for anything we carry. We don't sell anything we wouldn't use ourselves.
We also believe in education. This space can be confusing — THCA, delta-8, delta-9, CBN, live rosin — there's a lot to learn. Our staff can walk you through all of it without making you feel dumb for asking. No pressure, no upsells. Just honest information.

Every product we carry includes a Certificate of Analysis from an independent, accredited laboratory. COAs are available on each product page online, or just ask at the counter. If a product doesn't have a current COA, it doesn't make our shelves.
